From the hometown (Fairmont, WV) of Blues legend and Rock&Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Johnnie Johnson comes one of the great new blues recording artists of today. DMBB has opened for Guitar Shorty, A.J. Croce, Deanna Bogart, the Georgia Satellites, John Raitt, Debbie Davies, Corey Harris, and John Mayall. They've also shared the stage with Cotton Candy & So Many Men, Skeeter Brandon and Sandra Hall, as well as B.B. Coleman and blues artists formerly of the Junior Wells Band. Their debut CD "Prisoner of the Blues" roused enthusiastic reviews from Blues Revue and Blues Wax magazines and their recent release of "Live! Out of the Ordinary" is hot on its heels. Several cuts receive regular air play at Electric Blues Radio and WYEP in Pittsburgh. "Little Red Rooster" rose to #7 on the Radiowave Monitor contemporary blues charts and "How Blue Can You Get" hit #1 on Midnight Special Blues Radio in Paris, France. The band is proud to be the 1993 and 1995 winners of the Marietta Ohio Blues Society's blues band contest, the only band twice to be so honored. In 2007 Dennis McClung was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and appointed Ambassador of the Blues for the State of West Virginia!
